Information on Classes

To see what classes are currently on offer:

We teach 3 terms per year:

  • September to December.
  • January to March.
  • April to June.
T'ai Chi Class 1
T'ai Chi Class 2 Classes take place on Monday Evenings in CARA Hall Raheny, Dublin 5. Beginners classes 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Advanced classes start at 7:30pm. We have beginners level classes on offer each term as well as more advanced classes. A term is typically a minimum of 10 weeks.

Classes take place on Wednesday Evenings in Parish Hall, St. Peter's Church of Ireland, Peter Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth.

Classes typically last 1 hour. No special equipment is required but we recommend you wear loose comfortable clothing and T'ai Chi slippers.

We offer a FREE Introduction Class from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the start of each new term to give you an opportunity to learn more about, and more importantly experience T'ai Chi before deciding if you want to take classes. Included is a demonstration, a short lecture on T'ai Chi, and a lesson teaching you the opening movements. For these introduction sessions you are advised to wear loose comfortable clothing and bring along two pairs of socks or T'ai Chi slippers if you have a pair. Registration for term takes place after introduction class. Due to the cummulative nature of classes the latest we recommend joining a term of T'ai Chi classes is week 3, however Roots and Branches™ 5 Element Qi Gong classes may be attended on a drop in basis.

Advanced classes are only available to students who have studied with us or with another branch of TCF.
