'I have been learning T'ai Chi chuan classes for about a year and really enjoy the class. Recently I had to undergo an agiogram and have an
angioplasty done. While waiting in the hospital I was very nervous and decided to practise my T'ai Chi - this really helped me to relax and deal
with the medical procedure'

'I have taken up T'ai Chi late in life and my only regret is that I did not start earlier. In a short space of time I have found it to be fantastic,
interesting and most enjoyable method of engerising body and mind through a series of gentle and relaxing movements. I am now less stressed and
have more energy - joining the class has been one of my better decisions!'

'I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis eight years ago and having experienced fatigue, vertigo and difficulties with blanace, I took up T'ai Chi
in January 2006. My son has noticed that I walk faster, my balance has improved and my posture is better. I was nervous before joining the class
but that vanished when I realised that a level of fitness is not a requirement and that it was a lot of fun to do! The teaching is of a high
quality and I love that there are always at least two instuctors teaching as a team'

'One of the main reasons I started T'ai chi was that as my father grew older, I noticed that he was losing his mobility and became housebound.
This led to incredible frustration for him as he was very active all his life - he still has a very active mind but his limbs will not respond.
I am giving myself a better chance of being active into my older years by practising T'ai chi'
